The Patriots signed LB Niko Koutouvides on Sunday, a veteran special-teams player.

The seventh-year vet has played with the Seahawks, Broncos and Buccaneers. He was a fourth-round pick out of Purdue in 2004 for Seattle.

In 103 games, Koutouvides has two starts, 54 tackles on defense and 101 special-teams tackles.
