Rookies were expected to make a big impact on the Raiders this season, but few predicted that fifth-round WR Denarius Moore would be the star of camp among the new players. Moore, who has seen increased first-team reps because of injuries to WRs Jacoby Ford and Darrius Heyward-Bey, has made outstanding plays on a daily basis, and we hear he already is developing a strong connection with starting QB Jason Campbell. The team has a bevy of speedsters who can run down the sidelines but have long-needed a pass catcher who can make plays across the field and bail out a quarterback under duress. It's too early to say if Moore can be that guy, but the Tennessee product has shown fantastic speed and the ability to make plays in traffic, likely earning himself some playing time even after the starting wideouts return to the lineup.
