The addition of ex-Jets WR Jerricho Cotchery strengthens the Steelers' depth and potentially makes them all the more difficult to defend, especially when spreading the field in multi-WR sets. Cotchery, who twice exceeded 80 catches earlier in his career in New York, should be a nice fit as a complementary target. He caught 41-433-2 last season (86 targets), but he had eight drops, according to STATS LLC. Cotchery gives the Steelers five solid wide receivers, with Mike Wallace, Hines Ward and second-year pros Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown already forming a solid corps. Sanders is coming off a surgical procedure on his left foot, but we're told there isn't too much concern about his ability to recover and contribute. Brown, who came on late last season, is said to be having a strong summer and appears to be a player on the rise, adding further intrigue to the group.
