The Titans announced Friday that they have signed veteran S Jordan Babineaux, who has spent seven seasons with the Seahawks.
Re-signing with the Seahawks was considered, but Babineaux decided to go with a change of scenery. He played in 16 games with zero starts in 2010 after starting every game in 2009. He has 10 career interceptions to go with 28 passes defensed.
The way we see it
Babineaux will have an opportunity to compete with Chris Hope, who didn't have a great 2010. Babineaux does bring depth to the safety position, something the Titans were missing behind Hope and Michael Griffin.
