The Saints reached an agreement with former Bears C Olin Kreutz on Friday.
Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune first reported the transaction, which is a one-year deal. Kreutz reportedly turned down more money from two other teams, including the Bears.
Kreutz has spent his entire 13-year career in Chicago, starting 183 games. He hasn't missed a start since 2002. The Bears play at New Orleans in Week Two.

The six-time Pro Bowler likely will replace Jonathan Goodwin, who started 16 games for New Orleans last season but joined the 49ers on Wednesday. The Saints also have second-year pro Matt Tennant.
