DE Ricky Sapp has left Eagles training camp. Geoff Mosher of The News Journal of Wilmington first reported the news.

Sapp, a fifth-round pick by the team in 2010, missed all of his rookie season, as he was placed on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in the preseason. Another defensive player told Mosher that Sapp "had been complaining of some knee pain, was frustrated."

DE Victor Abiamiri reportedly suffered a torn Achilles tendon. He missed all of 2010 after playing in 13 games and recording two sacks in 2009. He was spotted on crutches at practice Wednesday and the team had no comment on his condition. Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer tweeted that Abiamiri will have surgery and that his season is over before it began.

The Eagles have signed multiple free-agent defensive linemen in the past week: Cullen Jenkins, Jason Babin, Derek Landri and Tony Hargrove. They also traded DT Brodrick Bunkley to the Broncos and might have lost DT Mike Patterson for some time after he had a seizure at practice Wednesday.
