The Jets agreed to re-sign S Brodney Pool, according to multiple reports. Pool, who was an unrestricted free agent, had 53 tackles and one interception in 15 games and 12 starts for the Jets last season.

The Jets already re-signed S Eric Smith with Jim Leonhard continuing his comeback from a broken leg. James Ihedigbo is still a free agent.

The team is also reportedly hosting veteran WR Derrick Mason for a visit. The Ravens cut Mason last week. The Jets have not re-signed Braylon Edwards and are rumored to be dangling Jerricho Cotchery as trade bait for other teams.
