QB Rex Grossman will re-sign and join the Redskins' training camp on Tuesday night, head coach Mike Shanahan said.

"I would say if Rex is going to be in here (Tuesday night) there's a good chance he'll be signed," Shanahan said, according to the team website.

Grossman, who was a free agent, will compete with John Beck and Kellen Clemens to be the team's starting signalcaller. He had a 1-2 record as the starter last season, throwing seven touchdown passes and four interceptions.

Since he was a free agent, Grossman cannot practice until Thursday.
