The Cowboys reached an agreement to re-sign S Gerald Sensabaugh. According to ESPN Dallas' Calvin Watkins, it's a one-year deal worth $2.5 million.
Sensabaugh tweeted, "Headed back to the Big D."
The seventh-year vet played in all 16 games with 14 starts last season. He recorded career-highs in tackles (71), interceptions (five), sacks (two) and passes defensed (10).
It was thought that the Cowboys would be in the market for a safety to replace Sensabaugh. They were reportedly interested in Michael Huff, who re-signed with the Raiders.
