The Saints re-signed OT Zach Strief on Monday, PFW correspondent and New Orleans Times-Picayune writer Mike Triplett reported.

Strief, a seventh-round pick out of Northwestern in 2006, is a reserve O-lineman. He sees most of his playing time as a blocking tight end in short-yardage situations.

Strief has played in 71 regular-season games with seven career starts.
