Veteran QB Mark Brunell re-signed with the Jets on Sunday, just days after being released. Brunell likely came back on a cheaper salary.

"Just (re-signed) with Jets. Gettin ready for my 19th training camp. Here we go!" Brunell tweeted.

Brunell, who will turn 41 in September, appeared in two games last season, his first with the Jets. He will be asked to continue mentoring starting QB Mark Sanchez as well as '11 seventh-round QB Greg McElroy.
