The Raiders have lost CB Nnamdi Asomugha and OG Robert Gallery this offseason, but were able to re-sign S Michael Huff, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Huff started 15 games last season, recording a career-high 94 tackles, three interceptions and four sacks.
It had been rumored in May that the Cowboys would make a run at Huff, but Oakland was able to keep him by the bay.
The way we see it
Huff was considered a longshot to return to Oakland, given that the team was close to the salary cap and had greater needs on the offensive side of the ball. But when the market for safeties was not what Huff expected, he decided to return to the team following his career season. He should be a big help to a young secondary that already lost CB Nnamdi Asomugha this offseason.
