Raiders WR Jacoby Ford could miss a few weeks of training camp due to a broken left hand, the team's head coach, Hue Jackson, told reporters on Sunday.
Ford suffered the injury during Saturday's practice, which he left early. He was seen on the sideline with his hand wrapped in a bandage following the practice.
The way we see it
Oakland is counting on Ford to be one of their playmakers this season, both as a receiver and on special teams. His absence will force the team's other receivers to step up in camp and prove their ability. The team drafted two wideouts in April, Denarius Moore and David Ausberry, both of whom will see increased reps as a result of this injury.
