The Lions continued to upgrade their linebacking corps, signing former Titans LB Stephen Tulloch to a one-year deal on Sunday.

According to ESPN, the contract is worth $3.25 million with $1.8 million guaranteed.

Tulloch had 160 tackles in 16 starts last season, as well as six passes defensed and an interception. He finished second in the league in tackles.

Earlier in the week, the Lions signed former Jaguars OLB Justin Durant.

The way we see it

With a stout defensive line, the Lions needed to improve the second part of the team's front seven this offseason, putting more talent around DeAndre Levy. Tulloch is a tackling machine and should help the league's 24th ranked rushing defense from a year ago.
