The Dolphins signed DL Ronald Fields on Sunday. Fields spent the last two seasons with the Broncos.

In seven seasons, Fields has played in 81 games with 25 starts. He played in all 16 games last year, recording 22 tackles. He started every game in 2009.

Fields joins a deep D-line after the Dolphins re-signed DL Tony McDaniel. They also will have a healthy Jared Odrick and Phillip Merling for 2011.
