DE Wallace Gilberry has signed his restricted free-agent tender with the Chiefs, keeping an important piece of the team's defense in place.
The end is entering his fourth season in the NFL and is becoming an established pass rusher. In 2010, Gilberry finished second on the team with seven sacks, despite starting only two games.
The way we see it
Gilberry is going to continue his role as a situational pass rusher, filling in for starting DEs Tyson Jackson and Glenn Dorsey. He'll also be challenged by rookie DE Allen Bailey, who is expected to be a strong run stuffer.
