One of the top cornerbacks still on the market is staying put. Chris Carr agreed to re-sign with the Ravens on Saturday.

Carr tweeted that he is staying in Baltimore and is "very excited to finish my career here." ESPN's Adam Schefter reported it's a four-year deal.

The seventh-year veteran started all 16 games in 2010 for the first time in his career. He recorded two interceptions and eight passes defensed. Carr spent the first three seasons of his career in Oakland and 2008 with the Titans.

The Ravens lost CB Josh Wilson to the Redskins but will get Domonique Foxworth back from injury.

The way we see it

Carr emerged as a starting-caliber corner and will be a key member of the Ravens' secondary, along with rookie Jimmy Smith, Foxworth and Lardarius Webb. It's unclear if he will start again in 2011, but he figures to be a regular contributor.

The best remaining cornerbacks in the free-agent market are Antonio Cromartie and Carlos Rogers.
