The Rams agreed to terms on a one-year deal with former Texans OLB Zac Diles, according to PFW correspondent and St. Louis Post-Dispatch writer Jim Thomas.
Diles played in 15 games with 10 starts last season, recording 82 tackles. He played four seasons in Houston and was an unrestricted free agent.
The Texans did select OLB Brooks Reed in the second round of this year's draft.
The way we see it
Diles was among four free agent linebackers the Rams were looking at along with the Eagles' Stewart Bradley, the Vikings' Ben Leber and Scott Shanle, who decided to re-sign with New Orleans. The Rams could use help at both positions, particularly on the weak side.
