Ravens sign draft picks

The Ravens full 2011 draft class has agreed to contracts.

It started with second-round WR Torrey Smith, Pro Football Talk reported Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, the Ravens agreed on a contract with WR Tandon Doss, a fourth-round pick from Indiana, PFW Ravens correspondent Jamison Hensley of The (Baltimore) Sun reported.

Smith played his college ball at Maryland. The speedy wideout was the Ravens' first draft pick to agree on a deal and figures to compete immediately for playing time.

The Ravens announced Thursday they signed third-round OT Jah Reid, fifth-round CB CHykie Brown, fifth-round DE Pernell McPhee, sixth-round QB Tyrod Taylor and seventh-round RB Anthony Allen.

According to PFW's Eric Edholm, Reid will get a signing bonus of $563,240.

Late Thursday, first-rounder Jimmy Smith, a cornerback out of Colorado, tweeted that he was set to join the club very soon as well.

"Ok.. its official," Smith wrote. "I sign tomorow.."
