Chiefs agree to deals with rookies

The Chiefs have agreed to terms with eight of the nine members of their rookie class.

First-round pick Jonathan Baldwin, a wide receiver out of Pittsburgh, signed with the team on Friday. According to Aaron Wilson of FOX Sports, the rookie's deal is worth $7.55 million and includes a $3.99 million bonus.

C Rodney Hudson, taken in the second round out of Florida State, agreed to a deal on Thursday evening.

Third-round DE Allen Bailey and the team agreed to a deal that is worth $2.67 million over four years, according to Wilson. That deal also included a $556,000 signing bonus for the former Miami (Fla.) star.

According to the National Football Post, the team and QB Ricky Stanzi agreed to a four-year deal worth $2.2 million. The former Iowa signalcaller is expected to be Matt Cassel's primary backup this season.

FB Shane Bannon, out of Yale, signed late Wednesday. His deal is for four years and included a $51,000 signing bonus, per Wilson.

The specifics on the contracts for fourth-round CB Jalil Brown, fifth-round OLB Gabe Miller and sixth-round NT Jerrell Powe were not announced.
