DE Stephen Bowen stays in the NFC East, agreeing to a five-year deal with the Redskins, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.

The deal is worth $27.5 million with $12.5 million guaranteed.

Bowen played in all 16 games with nine starts for the Cowboys last season, recording 22 tackles and 1½ sacks.

The Redskins released DE Phillip Daniels and DT Ma'ake Kemoeatu. They also traded DT Albert Haynesworth to the Patriots.
