The Falcons have re-signed RT Tyson Clabo, their top priority this offseason. Adam Schefter of ESPN first reported the news.

Clabo, who made the Pro Bowl in 2010, has been with the Falcons the past five seasons. In that time, he has started all 69 games that he has played in.

There had been talk earlier Thursday that Clabo would sign with the Bills, who were heavily pursuing him to anchor their line. Instead, the tackle decided to re-up with the Falcons, who are expected to have one of the best offenses in the NFL.

The way we see it

Re-signing Clabo became the Falcons' top priority after they missed out on signing a top pass-rushing defensive end. He is a good run blocker for their ground-based offense and is considered a young leader and a team-first player.
