The Seahawks agreed to a three-year deal with OG Robert Gallery, reuniting the former No. 2 overall pick with Tom Cable.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Gallery will head to Seattle after starting 91 career games in seven seasons with the Raiders. Cable, the former Raiders head coach, is now the Seahawks' offensive line coach.
Gallery was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft. His deal will be official on Friday.
The way we see it
Gallery should immediately improve the Seahawks' offensive line and will be their starting left guard in 2011. Obviously Cable knows Gallery well and this move should shore up the entire unit.
