The Patriots added 12 undrafted rookies to their roster, the team announced on Wednesday.

The UDFAs are: Auburn OL Mike Berry, Nevada LB/LS Ryan Coulson, Texas OL Kyle Hix, Massachusetts PK Chris Koepplin , Idaho DE Aaron Lavarias, West Virginia LB Anthony Leonard, Illinois DE Clay Nurse, California WR Jeremy Ross, Rutgers DE Alex Silvestro, Iowa LB Jeff Tarpinian, Akron OL Corey Woods and Maryland TE Will Yeatman.

The Pats also announced that WR Tyree Barnes and RB Eric Kettani have been reinstated from the reserve military list.

The way we see it

While undrafted rookies are generally a longshot to make NFL rosters, Bill Belichick has made it a habit to find undrafted players and turn them into NFL contributors. Last season, undrafted rookies Kyle Love, Dane Fletcher and Sergio Brown all played a role.
