The Panthers continue to spend money in free agency, agreeing to two more deals on Wednesday afternoon.

Veteran TE Ben Hartsock has agreed to a two-year contract with the team, his agent confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday. Financial terms have not been released.

Hartsock, an eight-year pro, has spent the last two seasons with the Jets, where he was primarily a blocking tight end. He had one reception in each season, and his 2009 catch went for a touchdown.

PK Olindo Mare also agreed to a deal, which the NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports is for $12 million over four years; the deal also includes a $4 million signing bonus.

Over the past 14 NFL seasons, Mare has made more than 81 percent of his field goals. John Kasay, who has been with Carolina since the franchise started in 1995, is still on the roster.
