Stanton, a fifth-year veteran, threw four touchdowns and three interceptions in 2010.
Stanton, 27, told PFW in June that he would be "comfortable" re-signing with Detroit. He is expected to be behind Shaun Hill on the Lions' depth chart, as the two back up QB Matthew Stafford.
Wendling's deal is worth $2.75 million according to the Detroit Free Press. He was a Pro Bowl alternate last season.
