The Chargers announced Wednesday night that they had signed three draft picks: LB Jonas Mouton, a second-round pick from Michigan; OL Steven Schilling, a collegiate teammate of Mouton's and sixth-round selection; and LB Andrew Gachkar, a seventh-rounder from Missouri.
Mouton is expected to primarily to be a factor on special teams, though he may also contribute as an inside linebacker. His selection was seen as a surprise to many, as most publications (including PFW) had him projected to be picked much later in the draft.
The Chargers announced Thursday that they signed sixth-round RB Jordan Todman and second-round FS Marcus Gilchrist. Terms were not disclosed for either deal, though PFW correspondent Scott Bair of the North County Times tweeted that Gilchrist's contract was for four years.
Late Thursday night, the team announced that third-round pick Vincent Brown, a wide receiver from San Diego State, had also agreed to a deal. Brown is expected to be a factor in the Bolts passing game right away.
On Friday night, the team agreed to a deal with third-round CB Shareece Wright out of USC.
