The Steelers kept their top cornerback from leaving town by agreeing to a four-year deal with Ike Taylor, according to multiple reports.
Taylor started 15 games last season, picking off two passes. He has 11 career interceptions and has spent all eight seasons with Pittsburgh.
The 31-year-old was an unrestricted free agent.
The way we see it
Taylor became a top priority for the Steelers, as he is their best corner. He works well in Pittsburgh's scheme and the team would have been hard-pressed to find a good replacement if he left via free agency.
