The Lions will release WR Bryant Johnson, according to multiple reports. Johnson was due to make $3.2 million in 2011.
In Johnson's second season in Detroit, he had 18 catches for 210 yards and zero touchdowns. All were career-low numbers. He spent the first five seasons of his career in Arizona, and had a 40-740-4 year in 2006.
The Lions drafted WR Titus Young in the third round of April's draft. Johnson's release won't become official until Thursday afternoon.
