OT Rich Seubert will be released by the Giants, according to a report by Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger. The Giants also plan to release C Shaun O'Hara, as first reported by Pro Football Talk.

OT Shawn Andrews tweeted that he could not reach an agreement with the Giants "on a favorable contract." Andrews was due $7.5 million this year.

Seubert has been on the Giants since 2001, starting in 88 games for the club. He dislocated his knee in Week 17 of last season and had major reconstructive surgery during the offseason.

O'Hara has started 135 games with the Giants, but just six last season because of injury. Coming off ankle and Achilles surgery, O'Hara was expected to begin the season on the PUP list. According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, that the move was an effort by the Giants to get under the salary cap.

Garafolo reports that there is a possibility the team could re-sign Seubert for less money, but it is unclear at this point if they are planning to do that.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the Giants did agree to a two-year deal with OL Kevin Boothe. Boothe started five games last season.
