Eagles DE Brandon Graham was not expected to be ready by Week One after tearing his ACL during his rookie season. But reports surfaced Wednesday that Graham also underwent microfracture surgery this offseason.

The news was first reported by Kyle Meinke of AnnArbor.com and has been confirmed by other media outlets.

The Eagles' 2010 first-round pick underwent the procedure on his right knee Dec. 21 and is expected to see Dr. James Andrews next week. Graham said at Jalen Rose's golf outing that he hopes to begin practicing in September.

Head coach Andy Reid said in a chat with fans last month that Graham likely would not be ready for Week One.

In his rookie campaign, Graham started six of 13 games and recorded three sacks and two forced fumbles.
