The Buccaneers made some personnel moves on Wednesday, including the promotion of Dennis Hickey to director of player personnel.
According to the Pewter Report, the Bucs have not had a director of player personnel since Ruston Webster held the title in 2005. Hickey has been with the team since 1996.
"Dennis' organizational ability and talent as a player evaluator have been vital to the Buccaneers for the past 15 seasons," said Buccaneers GM Mark Dominik, according to the club. "We are excited that he will continue to be an integral part of our plan in his expanded role, as he exemplifies this organization's focus and commitment to bringing championships to Tampa Bay."
The Bucs also hired Bill Rees as a college scout, Tony Hardie as the team's new combine scout and Rob McCarney as a pro personnel assistant.
