Longtime NFL reporter Vic Carucci is leaving the NFL.com to become a senior editor for the Browns, where he will write on the team's website and host a daily radio show.

Carucci, who had been a senior columnist for the league's official site for the past 12 years, will publish content on ClevelandBrowns.com and host "Cleveland Browns Daily." The radio show will air on ESPN Radio in Cleveland, along with the Browns site and ESPNCleveland.com. Appearing alongside Carucci on the show will be Browns play-by-play man Jim Donovan, analyst Doug Dieken and sideline reporter Jamir Howerton.

In his goodbye column on NFL.com, which was posted on Wednesday, Carucci told to his readers, "Although my primary focus will be on the Browns, I'll regularly address league-wide issues. The Browns also plan to have me at all of the major events on the NFL calendar. From that standpoint, things aren't going to necessarily feel all that different."
