Eagles LB Akeem Jordan was arrested in Harrisonburg, Va. on Sunday and charged with misdemeanor assault and battery; the news was first reported by the Daily News (Va.) Record.

The newspaper states that the details of the case are not clear, other than that Jordan was involved in an incident in a parking lot in Harrisonburg, which is the player's hometown.

Jordan, a four-year NFL vet, played in all 16 games for the Eagles last season, registering 24 tackles, nine of which were on special teams.
