Tom Zbikowski's offseason of boxing is now over; time for the Ravens' safety to refocus on football.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Zbikowski has backed out of his June 4 bout against Mike Howell at the Staples Center in Los Angeles so he can turn his attention back to his real job.

"It's time to start the transition back to football," Zbikowski told the newspaper via text messages. "My teammates are starting to organize some workouts, so it's just time to head back [to Baltimore]. Wish I had more time to do both."

In three fights since the lockout began, Zbikowski had a 3-0 record. He has missed all of the Ravens' voluntary workouts this spring, which are being held at Towson University in Baltimore.

Earlier in the offseason, Zbikowski failed a drug test, leading to a suspension from boxing. A follow-up test, however, proved that to be false, and the punishment was lifted.
