The Dolphins have made multiple changes to their scouting department.
The team has named Chris Shea as the assistant director of pro scouting, added John Ritcher as a scouting assistant and promoted Chase Leshin to the position of college scouting coordinator.
"These three moves will help strengthen our scouting department," Miami GM Jeff Ireland said in a statement. "Chris has done a tremendous job with our organization and has experience at the professional, NFL and collegiate level. We are equally excited about John joining us and Chase has earned a well deserved promotion to our college scouting department after his work for the past two years."
Shea is entering his 13th NFL season, fourth with the Dolphins, and most recently served as the team's player personnel administrator. Richter joins the organization after spending three years on the strength and conditioning staff at Florida State. Leshin had worked in various departments with the Dolphins prior to his promotion.
