Vikings DT Pat Williams said that a conversation with head coach Leslie Frazier last month before the lockout was imposed led him to believe that the team wants him to come back for the 2011 season.

Williams, who turns 39 in October, faces a four-game suspension from the league for testing positive for a banned diuretic in 2008.

Despite all of that, the Vikings apparently want to keep intact the "Williams Wall" DT tandem that Williams is part of along with Kevin Williams.

Williams, who has spent the past six seasons with the Vikings, said he was cleared to lift weights last week, after undergoing offseason surgery to fix a torn left triceps. He expects to be ready when the league resumes operations.
