Saints WR Marques Colston underwent microfracture surgery this offseason to repair cartilage in his right knee, according to The New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Colston has had a history of knee problems throughout his career and had a similar operation performed in 2009. Colston said that he is ahead of schedule and will be ready for training camp.
"I'm doing everything now. It's just about getting my conditioning back," he said, according to the paper.
Colston led the Saints with 84 catches for 1,023 yards and seven touchdowns in ’10.
