The Broncos drafted two tight ends on the third day of the NFL draft, both of whom could make an immediate impact.

Denver has an opening at the TE position after cutting veteran Daniel Graham, a 16-game starter last season. Rookies Julius Thomas and Virgil Green are both known for their athleticism and pass-catching abilities, making them vital assets in the fantasy world.

The position was rarely used in the passing game under former head coach Josh McDaniels. However, the Broncos will likely get the tight ends more involved in '11. TEs Richard Quinn and Dan Gronkowski remain on the roster, but Thomas and Green immediately become the most dangerous pass-catching threats at the position.

The need for capable receivers at the position will be magnified if QB Tim Tebow wins the starting job. The scrambling QB could use a reliable target in the short-passing game and threw to the tight end often at Florida.
