The Patriots finalized their 2011 preseason schedule on Friday, and it includes a nationally televised game against the Lions.

New England opens the preseason on Thursday, Aug. 11 at home against Jacksonville at 7:30 p.m. ET. The following Thursday, the Pats head to Raymond James Stadium to play the Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. ET.

On Saturday, Aug. 27, the Pats return to Detroit, where they won on Thanksgiving Day last season, to play the Lions on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.

The Patriots conclude their preseason on Thursday, Sept. 1 against the Giants in Foxborough at 7:30 p.m. ET.
