WR Torrey Smith could contribute as a vertical threat in his first season in Baltimore, but he will have most value to fantasy owners down the road.
Smith may not start as a rookie, with Anquan Boldin and Derrick Mason the Ravens' likely starting tandem, but his exceptional speed could earn him a role in the offense early, and perhaps a prominient one sooner than later if he proves a quick study. A starting role seems more likely in 2012 than in '11, however.
Smith's progress in training camp bears monitoring for fantasy owners. He might be worth a late-round look in bigger leagues and keeper formats if he excels in the summer. The Ravens' passing game disappointed last season, and Smith is a talented prospect.
