The value of DeMarco Murray, a third-round pick, might not be great as a rookie, but it does say a lot about the Cowboys' RB depth chart.

All signs point to the team releasing Marion Barber. They would have a top three of Felix Jones, Tashard Choice and Murray, with Lonyae Miller competing with Murray for time.

Being the third back in a passing offense, however, won't translate to fantasy gold. This is a future pick, though Murray could be the third-down back in some packages.
