One of the most surprising picks of the draft was QB Ryan Mallett heading to New England, and he won't have any fantasy value for a couple years.
Mallett will come to Foxborough as the Patriots' No. 3 quarterback and will compete with Brian Hoyer to be Tom Brady's backup. Mallett has the athletic tools and a cannon for an arm, but character concerns dropped him to the third round.
