Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway called himself Tim Tebow's "biggest fan" prior to the draft, then showed confidence in the second-year signalcaller by not taking a quarterback with the team's top pick. The Broncos have been calling QB Kyle Orton their starter all offseason, but one daily team observer said that Orton is the team's top quarterback in name only.
