OLB Von Miller made countless headlines in Denver after becoming the No. 2 overall selection in the 2011 NFL draft, but we hear it was another former college superstar who quietly made strides toward a starting job next season. Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway called himself Tim Tebow's "biggest fan" prior to the draft, then showed confidence in the second-year signalcaller by not taking a quarterback with the team's top pick. The Broncos have been calling QB Kyle Orton their starter all offseason, but one daily team observer said that Orton is the team's top quarterback in name only. Orton was benched in favor of Tebow after 13 games last season and a source close to the team told PFW that Tebow has been training hard ever since and is taking 90 percent of his snaps from under center. Considering his work ethic, we hear Tebow has a great chance to earn the starting job.
