The Jaguars moved up six spots in the first round of the NFL draft to select Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert.
The Jags traded their No. 16 pick to the Redskins for Gabbert, who they took with the 10th pick in the draft. Jacksonville also included their second-round pick, No. 49 overall.
Gabbert, who many expected to be the second quarterback taken in the draft, fell to No. 10 after Washington QB Jake Locker was taken with the eighth pick.
The Redskins selected Purdue DE Ryan Kerrigan with the 16th pick. Washington now has the 41st and 49th picks in Round Two.
