The Giants were the only team to allow a player to work out on Tuesday at the team's facility, as DT Chris Canty got a workout in and met with coaches. However, the Giants will close their weight room on Wednesday, according to beat writers Mike Garafalo and Ralph Vacchiano.
The team said "workout and training rooms will be closed until we get clarification from the pending challenges to the court decision."
Players can still go to the team facility and talk with members of the coaching staff.
Tuesday's confusion came after Judge Susan Nelson ended the NFL lockout on Monday night, but the league is awaiting a decision on a stay to her injunction pending its appeal, which would allow the lockout to continue. Most clubs allowed players in the facilities, but told them that they could not use the weight rooms until further clarification was given.
