Whenever free agency begins, Ravens UFA QB Marc Bulger could find himself drawing interest from clubs looking for a starter. Should Bulger leave, which seems a logical outcome, the Ravens would have a need for a backup for Joe Flacco. A veteran replacement for Bulger could be pursued in free agency, but of more immediate interest is the Ravens' plan for the draft. Backup quarterback is not as great a priority as other positions the Ravens figure to fill earlier in the draft, with bolstering the pass rush and secondary two conceivable areas that could be addressed in the beginning stages of the draft, suggests a daily team observer. However, adding a rookie passer later in the draft, perhaps on Day Three, would make sense, considering Bulger's expected departure. In addition to Flacco, the Ravens have Hunter Cantwell, who was on their practice squad last season, at quarterback.
