The lawyers representing the players' trade association in the 'Tom Brady vs. NFL' lawsuit spent four hours meeting with Judge Arthur Boylan on Tuesday in Minneapolis, two days before they reunite with the owners in negotiations mediated by Boylan.

According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, the Brady class counsel declined comment. The Eller class counsel, representing retired players in the combined case against the NFL, met with Boylan after the players' representatives.

Michael Hausfield, the lead attorney for Eller, told Breer, "It was a very constructive season" and that Boylan was "very open."

Boylan will meet with the owners' representatives on Wednesday before bringing the two sides together for mediation on Thursday morning. Judge Susan Nelson ordered the mediation to occur with Boylan while she considers the injunction of the NFL lockout.
