PFW's readers have spoken: they want to see Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, the MVP of Super Bowl XLV, grace the cover of the "Madden NFL 12" video game.
According to a poll question that was posted on ProFootballWeekly.com asking readers who they would like to see on the cover of "Madden NFL 12," Rodgers was the overwhelming choice. He earned 1,986 of the 6,107 votes that were cast for a total of 32.5 percent. The second favorite among respondents was Patriots RB Danny Woodhead, who received 1,175 votes or 19.2 percent.
They were followed by Browns RB Peyton Hillis (13.4 percent), Eagles QB Michael Vick (11 percent), 49ers ILB Patrick Willis (7.7 percent), Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (6.9 percent), Saints QB Drew Brees (4.7 percent) and Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles (4.4 percent).
PFW's voters picked three of the four semifinalists in the actual voting — Rodgers, Hillis and Vick. In the semifinal round of fan voting to determine the cover subject, Rodgers is facing off against Hillis and Vick is taking on Peterson. The winner will be unveiled prior to the NFL draft later this month.
