An evidence hearing in the case against the four men accused of fatally shooting former Redskins S Sean Taylor will take place without reporters and cameras.

Taylor was shot in the thigh and bled to death during a burglary attempt of his Miami-area home in 2007.

"Closure is necessary for these defendants to receive a fair trial," said Circuit Judge Dennis Murphy.

The closed hearing is set for May 20 in Miami.

A trial date has not yet been scheduled for the four men, all from the Fort Myers area. A fifth suspect has pleaded guilty to murder and burglary charges and is expected to testify against the others, who each face potential life sentences if convicted.
